Mika Muler has recently married celebrated concert pianist André Polonski, who had been widowed for 10 years after his first wife had died in a mysterious car accident. By chance, an aspiring pianist Jeanne Pollet discovered that she was very nearly switched at birth with Polonski's son Guillaume. Jeanne, wondering about her true heritage, slowly insinuates herself into the Muller household n an effort to find the truth about her past, and gradually becomes suspicious on the ever smiling, ever helpful Mika.
